Application deadline

The deadline for applications is April 1st, 2014. A complete application includes (i) a short personal record (Curriculum Vitae), (ii) a list of visited lectures in accounting, economics or finance and (iii) a short description of the thesis and/or research projects in English.

Admission Requirements

The course focuses on accounting issues at an advanced level. The participants should therefore exhibit, apart from analytic abilities, knowledge within the range of these top­ics. Moreover, a close relation of the topic of your own scientific work to the studied issues is desirable. The number of partici­pants is limited to 50 persons.


The course is held by Prof. Stefan Reichelstein (Stanford University), an inter­nationally recog­nized colleague.

  • Prof. Dr. Thomas Pfeiffer (University of Vienna), and
  • Prof. Dr. Christian Hofmann (LMU Munich).

Fees and Funding

No enrolment fees apply. The organizers assume no responsibility in case the lectures have to be canceled.


The course will be held at locations centered around the University of Vienna, Faculty for Business, Economics and Statistics, Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1, 1090 Wien.
