This course is designed for PhD students and post-doctoral researchers who would like to extend and deepen their knowledge on current research issues in Capital Market Accounting. The course provides exposure to some analytical research in the area of capital markets and disclosure, which is a primary focus of a good deal of the academic research in accounting.

We will study both classic papers, which provide an analytical foundation upon which a large part of subsequent work in accounting has been conducted, as well as some succeeding papers with more direct applications to accounting.
